FireWatch Sentinel
An early-stage wildfire-mitigation concept exploring whether localized acoustic and microclimate sensing can reveal vegetation stress before ignition.
FireWatch Sentinel is being developed through a student innovation project. The concept focuses on tree-level monitoring that could complement satellites, cameras, weather models, and smoke detection by looking for changes inside vegetation itself. The proposed system combines acoustic sensing, environmental data, edge processing, and networked reporting.
The project is currently in research and prototype development. It is not yet a commercial product or an operating detection service.
